About Todd Drummond Consulting
Todd brings almost 40 years of industry experience and more than 20 years of full-time consulting experience. His background includes operations, business management, Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and time-and-motion methods. He also brings the perspective of someone who has worked across leadership, execution, and real manufacturing environments, not just theory.
TDC became widely known through specialized consulting in truss and wall panel manufacturing, where labor accuracy, workflow, scheduling, and operational discipline directly affect margins. That work remains an important part of Todd’s background and credibility. Today, TDC is expanding beyond that niche to help a broader range of manufacturers improve performance with the same practical, results-focused approach.
One of the differences clients value most is independence. TDC does not accept equipment or automation vendor royalties, which means recommendations are based on what best fits the client’s operation, goals, and return on investment.
Todd’s approach looks beyond one department. Many problems that appear in production actually begin in handoffs, planning, standards, training, or decision-making. That is why TDC works to improve how the business functions as a whole, not just one part of it.
Clients value clear insight, practical recommendations, and guidance they can apply quickly. The goal is not to create a long consulting dependency. The goal is to help leaders see the real issues, focus on what matters most, and move forward with confidence.
If your operation feels harder than it should, there is usually a reason. Todd Drummond Consulting helps you find it, simplify it, and improve it.
