TWE Frequently Asked Questions
TWE remains in development. These answers describe the current plan without promising details that have not yet been finalized.
Who is TWE intended for?
TWE is being developed for truss component manufacturers that want labor work-minute calculations based on their equipment, materials, and production methods. Its purpose is to give management clearer information for estimating, scheduling, staffing, capacity planning, and pricing decisions.
Which plate vendors will TWE support?
TWE is being developed to work with all five major plate vendors at its expected release. Compatibility and setup for a specific operation should be confirmed before adoption. TDC supports proper plate-vendor agreements and responsible software use.
What will onboarding involve?
Detailed onboarding steps are still being finalized. The beta-interest process begins with a short fit conversation about the operation and the factors affecting its labor calculations. Selected participants will receive requirements and next steps before testing begins.
How will TWE handle company data?
Product-specific privacy and data-handling terms are still being finalized. Selected beta participants will receive the applicable requirements and terms before providing operational data. Do not submit confidential production data through the initial interest form.
What will TWE cost?
Public pricing has not been announced. Qualified beta participants may receive a trial period of up to one year. Selection and trial length are not guaranteed; final pricing and terms will be shared when available.
How are beta participants selected?
Todd will review each request for fit, timing, and the needs of the beta program. Submitting interest is not acceptance into the beta. Selected participants will receive requirements and participation terms before deciding whether to proceed.
When will TWE be available?
The current target is mid-fall 2026. Because TWE remains in development, that timing may change. Use the beta-interest path above if you would like to be considered for testing.
